What have we accomplished with your help.
With your continued support for the past 18 years we have been there for people in their toughest times. We have created and provided growth resources to thousands of people coping with loss and adversity and have hosted 16 annual Hold The Door Day workshops for those dealing with loss and their loved ones supporting them. Based on our research we have created the OTHERS(S) framework that includes practical skills and serves as the foundation for our initiatives.
Where are we going?
We are excited to announce that we have recently expanded our Board of Directors, are strengthening our mission to reach more people, and are focusing on three key initiatives through 2020 and beyond including:
- Grow Hold the Door Day, our annual growth through grief experience, to reach more people. This is planned for the Spring of 2020.
- Establish a program that offers Growth Consultant support following Hold The Door Day
- Design a Hold the Door Homeroom program to promote social and emotional learning and strength skills in kids
In honor of the resiliency that carries people through hardship to a place of empowerment and growth, we ask you to consider a donation to Hold the Door. 100% of your donation will go directly to expanding the Hold the Door for Others programming.
